Rob’s Los Angeles studio, The POD, is built around a Pro Tools HD3 system loaded with classic tube and solid state gear combining the best of analog and digital and optimized for high end mixing and mastering in both stereo and surround.
Trained at the famous Record Plant recording studios, Beaton has worked with some of the world's greatest record producers (Mutt Lange, Walter Afanasieff, Mike Clink) and recording artists (Santana, Eddie Van Halen, Todd Rundgren).
Skilled in all aspects of analog recording and an ardent and devoted Pro Tools user, Rob's many years of experience cover all facets of music making, from recording and mixing, to music production, editing and mastering.
